Support for the people responsible for building computers

Strata councils

Help with shared building computers, equipment decisions and a written scope for approval. We confirm who can authorize the work and which strata corporation should receive the invoice.

Building managers & concierge teams

Troubleshooting for reception PCs, printers, email and everyday connectivity. We arrange access and downtime around your building’s operations.

Property management offices

Repair and support for staff desktops and laptops, new-computer setup and consistent equipment records across offices and properties.

Common problems we can help assess

  • A concierge computer takes too long to start or freezes during a shift.
  • Outlook, Microsoft 365 or a printer stops working after a change.
  • An ageing PC needs an SSD or RAM upgrade, or replacement makes more sense.
  • Files need to move safely to a replacement computer.
  • No one is sure which computers are backed up or when they should be replaced.
  • Office Wi-Fi or a wired connection is unreliable.

Practical computer services

Our scope includes desktop and laptop diagnostics, hardware repairs, SSD/RAM upgrades, Windows troubleshooting, email and Microsoft 365 support, printer setup, Wi-Fi and office networking, and approved remote troubleshooting. We can assess data migration, backup setup and recovery needs, and build an equipment inventory with replacement priorities.

Recovery is assessed case by case and cannot be guaranteed. If important files are missing or a drive may be failing, stop using it and contact us. Backup work must identify the data, destination, retention and restore checks in the agreed scope; file synchronization alone should not be treated as a complete backup plan.

Clear boundaries for building systems

We support ordinary computer hardware, Windows and approved network connections. If a computer runs camera viewing, access-control or building-management software, we coordinate with your existing system vendor before changes that could affect it. Specialist programming, installation, certification and repair of security, fire, elevator or access-control systems are outside this service. Report a building-safety emergency through your building’s established emergency procedure.

Choose support that fits your organization

One-time repair

Diagnosis and an agreed repair, upgrade or replacement setup. A practical starting point for a slow concierge PC or an office laptop that will not start.

Scheduled maintenance

Planned visits for agreed computers: update checks, storage health, backup checks and a short action list. Visit frequency and any restore testing are defined in your proposal.

Ongoing support

A written agreement listing covered computers and locations, included support time, scheduled visits and approval rules for additional work.

Work is approved before it begins. Hardware, software licences, backup storage, travel, parking and specialist vendor charges are identified in the proposal. No unlimited support or 24/7 coverage is included. Support hours, acknowledgement targets and appointment availability are agreed before an ongoing service starts; an acknowledgement is not a guaranteed repair time.

How support works

  1. Describe the impact. Tell us the location, number of devices, symptoms and any connected building systems.
  2. Confirm authority and scope. Nominate an approver, provide the billing entity and agree on assessment fees, access, downtime and vendor involvement.
  3. Approve the work. Review the exact price for the agreed scope before repairs or changes. Additional findings require a new approval.
  4. Receive a clear handover. We summarize the work, remaining issues and practical next steps. Maintenance or ongoing support can then be scoped around the equipment you actually use.

Local service, coordinated by location

Based in Coquitlam, we arrange service across Metro Vancouver, including the Tri-Cities, Burnaby, New Westminster, Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and the North Shore. On-site timing and travel are confirmed for each location. Remote help is available where the issue and access arrangements are suitable.

Frequently asked questions

Can you help with just one building computer?

Yes. You can request a one-time assessment without committing to a maintenance agreement. We confirm the issue, access and price before work.

Can you support several buildings?

We can scope support across agreed locations, with a named contact, equipment list and included time. Each building’s authority, billing and specialist vendors need to be identified.

Can you repair the computer used for cameras or fobs?

We can assess ordinary PC hardware and Windows issues, subject to vendor requirements. We do not change camera, fob, access-control or life-safety programming under this service. Your specialist vendor remains responsible for those systems.

Do you need our passwords in the inquiry?

No. Never send passwords, recovery keys, tenant records or access codes in the form. If access is required later, we agree on a suitable authorized method.

Do you provide guaranteed immediate or after-hours support?

No. We confirm availability and expected next steps after reviewing your request. Any ongoing response targets and service hours must be written into the agreement.
