Support from office setup to project handover

Head-office computers

Resolve slow desktops, laptop crashes, startup failures and email problems that interrupt estimating, administration and project coordination.

Temporary site offices

Set up approved computers and printers, diagnose ordinary Wi-Fi or wired connectivity and coordinate internet issues with the provider. Site access and a safe work area must be arranged.

Project moves & handovers

Plan replacement computers, migrate agreed files, document equipment ownership and prepare devices for their next authorized user or location.

Common reasons construction teams call

  • A project manager’s laptop will not boot before a meeting.
  • Site-office staff cannot print or access approved shared files.
  • Outlook or Microsoft 365 sign-in problems interrupt communication.
  • A workstation needs more storage or memory for its existing workload.
  • A project is closing and equipment or data needs an organized handover.
  • The business needs a record of which computers belong to which office or project.

What we can include

Computer diagnostics and hardware repair; SSD/RAM upgrades; replacement setup; authorized data migration; backup and recovery assessment; Windows, email and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting; printer setup; office networking; remote assistance; scheduled maintenance; and equipment replacement planning.

For CAD, estimating, accounting or project-management applications, we can investigate the underlying computer and coordinate with your software provider. Application training, engineering workflows, software development and specialist configuration are not included unless separately assessed and agreed. Licences remain the customer’s responsibility.

A site visit starts with preparation

Before dispatch, confirm the site address, authorized contact, access window, induction or PPE requirements, safe work area, internet provider and equipment list. Agree on an interruption window and backup needs before moving data or changing a working computer. We confirm whether we can meet site requirements before accepting the visit.

Choose support that fits your organization

One-time repair

Diagnosis and an agreed repair, upgrade or replacement setup. A practical starting point for a slow concierge PC or an office laptop that will not start.

Scheduled maintenance

Planned visits for agreed computers: update checks, storage health, backup checks and a short action list. Visit frequency and any restore testing are defined in your proposal.

Ongoing support

A written agreement listing covered computers and locations, included support time, scheduled visits and approval rules for additional work.

Work is approved before it begins. Hardware, software licences, backup storage, travel, parking and specialist vendor charges are identified in the proposal. No unlimited support or 24/7 coverage is included. Support hours, acknowledgement targets and appointment availability are agreed before an ongoing service starts; an acknowledgement is not a guaranteed repair time.

How a job is approved

  1. Tell us what is blocked. Identify the affected device, project, location and deadline.
  2. Confirm the buyer. Provide the authorized approver, billing company and purchase-order or job-code requirements.
  3. Agree on the work. We confirm the scope, exact price, travel and expected timing before proceeding. Extra work requires approval.
  4. Test and hand over. Check the agreed tasks with the user, record outstanding vendor issues and identify sensible maintenance or replacement steps.

Clear boundaries for building systems

We support ordinary computer hardware, Windows and approved network connections. If a computer runs camera viewing, access-control or building-management software, we coordinate with your existing system vendor before changes that could affect it. Specialist programming, installation, certification and repair of security, fire, elevator or access-control systems are outside this service. Report a building-safety emergency through your building’s established emergency procedure.

Frequently asked questions

Can you help at a temporary construction office?

We assess site-office computer and ordinary networking requests across Metro Vancouver. Access, travel, safety requirements and appointment timing must be confirmed first.

Can you support our existing IT team?

A repair, upgrade or on-site task can be scoped with your IT contact. We agree on responsibilities and permissions before touching managed equipment.

Can you guarantee that lost project files will be recovered?

No. Recovery depends on the device and damage. Stop using affected storage and ask for an assessment before further attempts.

Are new computers and Microsoft 365 subscriptions included?

No. Equipment, licences, cloud storage and third-party charges are separately identified for approval. We do not purchase subscriptions without authorization.

Do you offer 24/7 site support?

No. Service hours, included time and response expectations are agreed in writing. Urgent work is subject to confirmed availability.
