Genuine manufacturer-original parts
A genuine manufacturer part is supplied or identified by the device manufacturer for that product. Availability depends on the model, age, supply channel and the specific component. A part may be new or previously used; its condition should be confirmed separately from whether it is genuine.
We check what can be sourced for your device before recommending a replacement. We do not promise original-part availability for every model or every repair.
What does OEM mean?
OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer. Suppliers sometimes use the term broadly. A listing marked “OEM” alone does not establish that a component is a genuine, manufacturer-branded service part. Ask what the description means for the actual part being offered, how it is identified and whether it is new or previously used.
Premium compatible replacement options
A compatible part is an alternative intended to work with the device; it is not automatically a manufacturer-original part. Where an original component is unavailable or another option is appropriate, we explain the proposed alternative and any relevant differences before authorization.
- Displays: model and connector compatibility, resolution, brightness, refresh rate, touch support and assembly fit.
- Keyboards and batteries: exact model fit, layout, electrical requirements and any device-specific setup requirements.
